Hannah was in and out talking to him having him take deep breaths and just watching the monitor.
My husband came to the 10th floor after having chest pains Monday morning very early. He hadn't had any of his heart medicine that day and so around noon, Hannah brought his meds in and gave them to him. I told her he had not taken his metoprolol for about two weeks: 1) because his blood pressure had been running really low. 2) he had gotten covid and had to be off it for a while. But, it had been ordered and his heart rate had to be brought down.
Well, of course, that made his BP drop severely. She was on top of it for a really long time. She was in and out talking to him having him take deep breaths and just watching the monitor. She aided him in receiving I.V. fluids which finally brought his BP up. The most amazing part of all this was at the end of her last shift before she went on leave, she was literally 9 months pregnant. Her feet and back had to be hurting, but you could not tell. I know her last hour before her shift was over, she was in our room over 8 times. Actually, she didn't leave at 7 p.m. I think she stayed to make sure his BP and heart rate were good. Hannah is amazing!
