Hannah provided me the strength to focus on my recovery and healing.
My husband and I didn’t know what to expect when coming to a hospital. Although we are familiar with the setting, being a patient and being admitted are completely different. Everyone we encountered treated us wonderfully but Mitrah and Hannah were extraordinary, especially in our care with the loss of our 26-week-old baby. Mitrah was incredibly kind and full of compassion during the entire labor and delivery process. Her compassion and care made me feel more supported and courageous to deliver my baby who had passed away in utero. Her demeanor and affect really made me, my husband and our parents feel supported and truly cared for. Her attention to detail in ensuring I was comfortable was absolutely wonderful.
Although we didn’t interact with Hannah until after delivery, Hannah provided me the strength to focus on my recovery and healing. When we had to let go of our daughter, Hannah ensured that we felt at peace with saying goodbye. No parent should ever have to let go of their child but Hannah certainly gave us the strength and courage to do so.
Everyone that we encountered helped us feel stronger through this horrific and traumatic experience. All the other nurses were wonderful and we would highly recommend them for future pregnancies.
