I was recently hospitalized overnight. The chest pain I experienced was very excruciating and the worst I had ever felt in the 15+ years I have had this disease. Pete was my assigned nurse and I honestly feel he was more concerned with my well-being than I was. He not only did his job but was very compassionate and sincere with the concern he showed towards me throughout the night. I feel that Pete went above what he was required to do, not only for me but for any of his patients. I have seen him on the floor dealing with other patients and he is not only always very professional but is also very compassionate towards his patients. He is definitely a valuable asset to Bayfront Port Charlotte and a role model to his peers as well. He is well-deserving of some sort of recognition for not only the way he treated me but for the way he treats all of his patients as well as the respect he gets from his team and the role model he portrays to his peers and co-workers.
