Hazel treats her patient's not just as patients but like her own family. Hazel coordinated with several medical specialists to secure an early appointment with an available Pedia Gastroenterologist. Hazel even wrote a letter to the neurologist and pulmonologist requesting a detailed medical report which was needed for the approval. She also accompanied other nurses to the patient's appointments, even if they were beyond her duty hours, just to make sure that important details to be relayed were not missed. Her attitude, commitment, and compassion are truly amazing. She is extraordinary and goes beyond her professional nursing practice.
