The patient needed an urgent blood donor, so he volunteered to donate for the patient, as his blood group was O+VE.
I would like to appreciate my colleague. In a critical situation, a patient needed a blood transfusion for 3 days. The blood bank was in a critical shortage of O+VE Blood and they need donors from the family side. The patient's hemoglobin was critically low (HB=61). When he came to know that the family was living out of Jeddah and the patient needed an urgent blood donor, he volunteered to donate for the patient, as his blood group was O+VE, in the middle of his working shift. He donated blood and the patient received a blood transfusion. This was a very kind and passionate gesture from his side for the patient in the unit. He came back to the unit to complete his work.
