Heath begins each interaction with a warm greeting and handshake, immediately putting his patients at ease. He conducts thorough assessments with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that nothing is overlooked. His comprehensive approach to patient care is evident in his commitment to improving patient outcomes and overall well-being. What truly sets Heath apart is his willingness to go the extra mile, even in ways that might not be directly related to patient care.
For instance, he often stops by to say hello and check on his patients during their leisure time, providing them with a sense of normalcy and companionship, which is often missed in long-term care environments. The patient, originally from California, felt disconnected and without local support. When Heath discovered it was the patient’s birthday, he took it upon himself to brighten the veteran's day.
