At the VOSS Meade Parkway spine office, they saw a patient with some mental challenges. The patient was delivered to the office by a man who just dropped her off and left. We believe he was with a transportation company. Due to her disabilities, the patient was unable to figure out how she was getting home. Heather had noticed she was in the office for a long time and approached the patient. Heather discovered that the patient hadn't eaten, so she took the patient's food request, went out to Hardee's and brought back some lunch (buying this with her own money). The transportation vehicle finally came to pick up the patient around 5 pm. Without Heather's kind generosity the patient would not have eaten until after 5 pm that night.
Heather is always so helpful, she is always willing to help out a fellow co-worker who may be bogged down with a multitude of tasks.
Heather is also a great listener and gives the best advice on how to handle situations.
Heather is a Super User in our practice, a preceptor, and helps with issues that are far beyond her Super User title.
Heather comes to work and gives her fellow co-workers and the patient's 110%, even if she is not feeling well.
Heather is always smiling and interacts well with our patients as well.
