Heather was our nurse for three days after the delivery of our daughter (June 25-27). She provided care above and beyond our expectations. As first time parents, and people generally not being used to being in the hospital, Heather worked to reassure and support us every step of the way. From the simplest of things, such as providing us tips on diapering, to easing us through our daughters' diagnosis of jaundice and needing to spend hours under the light, Heather provided us with support and always worked to ensure we were equipped with the information and care we needed. Heather went so far as to clean our room when housekeeping did not come.

She made us feel at home, working to ensure we had clean linens, food and double checked on us each afternoon before she went home. She was truly more than we could have asked for; truly caring and kind.

...But thank God for Heather, my nurse. She was THE NICEST nurse I have EVER met in my life. She was so sweet and attentive and just seemed to represent the epitome of what a nurse should be. I know that God was looking out for me by having her as my nurse. She was so kind and loving; I could tell she loved her job. Even though I was feeling much better by that time, she even offered to help me do things that most of the other nurses hadn't done very much. Everything about Heather was just a light in the darkness and such an incredible blessing.
