Heather is conscientious and dedicated to her patients and their families. Her professional acumen seems flawless, but it is her genuine caring spirit that truly shines. She does not pass the room without a smile and concern that everything is OK. Heather takes the time to ensure the patients and their families physical and mental welfare are positive. She discovered that my mother had not been eating properly. Heather explained the value of the families maintaining good health if we expect to help the patient (my father). Heather now inquires every day as to whether my mother is taking care of herself.

Heather was his first nurse. She welcomed him to the unit, and efficiently/ professionally took care of his needs on those first upsetting days. Since then she has been my husband's nurse only a few times, but she has developed a relationship with him that puts a smile on his face each time she stops by. Heather's presence is comforting to him and she faithfully looks in on him when having time. She has also been a kind and loving friend to me during these difficult times. Always settling me down and supporting me when necessary.
