My father was recently a patient in CarePartners and for a couple of days, he had Heather Garry as his nurse. We just wanted to express how thankful we all were for her being such a kind, compassionate, caring and friendly nurse. She went out of her way to make his stay and our lives easier.
His condition caused some nausea and vomiting problems when he was overstimulated visually, and he had a roommate move in that required a lot of bedside activity. Heather picked up on that and let me know that she'd requested he be in a room without a roommate. Unbeknownst to us and to her, apparently Dad's physical therapist had also requested that Dad be alone in a room due to the same reason. We are very appreciative that they were looking out for him. My father had some frustrating days and wasn't always an easy patient, but Heather was amazing. We felt like we had lost a friend when we said goodbye to her.
You are very lucky to have such a wonderful person taking care of your patients. There are many wonderful nurses, aides, and therapists there as well, but Heather stood out.
