Hiyam Hamoud is a one of our exceptional home health care nurses, who always goes above and beyond to ensure that every patient's needs are met. There was one particular instance that truly highlighted Hiyam’s dedication to nursing. A patient was having difficulty managing her pain, and Hiyam took the time to work with the physician to adjust her medication. She took the time to listen to the patient and advocated on her behalf. Due to Hiyam's persistence, the patient's pain was significantly reduced, and her recovery took a more positive turn. Hiyam ensured that the patient had an individualized treatment plan that was unique to her needs. The patient felt valued not only as a patient, but as a person.
