I always felt at ease with Ian and had confidence that my husband was in good hands when he was under Ian's care.
Ian was “there” for us many, many times during my husband's stay at the hospital. As my husband’s nurse, he connected with him and helped him through his illness. He was always good at explaining things and providing excellent professional care.
One of the times Ian was the most helpful to me was when he was not even my husband’s nurse. My husband was in a crisis and they were calling for the crash cart; this nurse saw me in the hall. He checked on me and called a chaplain for me and then he went to help the team of nurses working to save my husband. I found out later that he was off duty and stayed to make sure my husband and I were ok before he left.
He is always on top of everything, and he always works hard. I always felt at ease with Ian and had confidence that my husband was in good hands when he was under Ian's care.
