I have been a nurse for 11 years and always thought I cared for my patients with care and compassion, until the day my dad was admitted to the hospital and Idaly was his nurse. The care she gave him compares to no other. Her smile lit up our gloomy room every time she entered and no matter how many times we called or how many times his IV infiltrated, she came with a smile. Idaly showed the love of her job in her patience and compassion for both my parents. She listened actively to my mom and patiently waited until she was through talking no matter how long the conversation or story was.
