The DAISY Team Award is designed to honor the collaboration of groups of nurses and recognizes that while an idea to achieve better patient, family, and community outcomes may start with one individual, it often takes an entire team to implement successfully.
This is the first year that KershawHealth has recognized a DAISY Team. I'm so excited to celebrate the Nursing Team of Incident Command - to include Phyllis Hames, Cindy Blanchard, and Scott Bernshausen.
This team of nurses embodies our mission and exemplify our values. They make a difference in the lives of those we serve - patients, families, employees, the community. In appreciation and recognition for outstanding teamwork and leadership, unwavering commitment and dedication, and selfless support during the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize this team. For many months, these nurses have sacrificed and provided their talents and expertise tirelessly. I am proud to work alongside them and to call them Healthcare Heroes.
