Itiya is such an excellent nurse, her compassion for her job is unremarkable.
I want to start out by THANKING one of your nurses there on the 7th floor who took really good care of my husband back in July before we left to go off to Hospice. Itiya is such an excellent nurse, her compassion for her job is unremarkable. My husband and I were so lucky to have her on board with us during this rough journey we were on.
A little bit of the back story here, my husband was diagnosed with a rare form of Cholangiocarcinoma with mets to the liver and lymph nodes in July. He was only 47, and there was no family history. We came in thinking it was his gallstones acting up again, but to our demise, we were told the worst news possible.
2 Inpatient stays later, and a multitude of doctors and nurses, by our 2nd round of being inpatient, we were so lucky to have Itiya as one of the nurses who took good care of him. I know I was probably more of a pain in her butt than anything, but she never wavered from always making sure to inform me of what was going on, even when we didn’t like the answer, she had to deliver to us. My husband was always a hard one to please, but I can say that when he was capable of talking and coherent enough, he would always ask if she was still his nurse even though shift change had already taken place. He worried that the next shift would not take care of him like she did. I truthfully can’t say enough good things about her. She was by far the best nurse we had during our two different stays at TTH.
