Coming to the PICU after an ER visit was very frightening for Mom. We went to a regular doctor's appointment because D was sick and ended up in the PICU within hours. Ivy took the time to take my son walking in the unit and made sure that he understood the things that were happening. She took his mind off his anxiety about being here and won 1,000 brownie points with him when she mentioned X-Box/PlayStation. She was very caring and attentive to his every want and made sure he was able to move around after being stuck in the bed for days because of his oxygen.

Madison took time to explain the changes in his plan of treatment and made sure that he was able to be as comfortable as he could be in the PICU. She was very attentive to him.

Cameron is so experienced and knowledgeable. He was able to make my son more comfortable with his IV and explain to him the things he would have to accomplish before going home. He was able to get D to understand what he was doing and why, and made D feel like he had a voice in what was happening. All the PICU staff and doctors have been doing the best they can for D and have been amazing at calming Mama, also. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
