My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and has been receiving her care at Illinois Masonic. I have been impressed with her care from the start but this week, she was admitted with complications and required surgery. We were admitted to the 9th floor and the care that she received has been amazing. Every person who has come in contact with her has been exceptional, however, Jaci has demonstrated all of the characteristics listed above. She was kind and compassionate and knowledgeable. When issues came up that she was unfamiliar with, she researched the best practice and educated my sister to meet her needs. As a nurse and nursing instructor, I do not give praise easily as I have high standards. I feel blessed to have had Jaci care for my sister and hope that you appreciate her contribution to your organization and continue to employ such excellent nurses.
