I am writing to commend the exceptional care Jack Gettinger provided to my father during his hospital stay. He went above and beyond in every way. He was incredibly kind and, most importantly, patient with my father, who had many questions and was often nervous. Jack took the time to answer every one of his questions, ensuring my father felt comfortable and heard.

One of the most remarkable things about him was how he communicated with not just my father but my mother and me. He kept us informed every step of the way, which gave us peace of mind during a stressful time.

His dedication truly shone when he stayed beyond his shift to help my father get up and walk. Although my father was anxious about losing his breath while walking, this nurse encouraged and talked him through each step. Thanks to this nurse’s support, my father was able to overcome his fears and progress in his recovery.

I genuinely believe that my father wouldn’t be doing as well as he is today without the nurse’s compassionate care. His bedside manner, patience, and ability to make all of us—my father, mother, and me—feel comfortable were extraordinary. We are so grateful for his kindness and professionalism.
