Our newborn was admitted to Norton Children’s Hospital when she was just 2 days old due to a low temp. Our stay started out in the emergency department where we stayed a night while we were waiting for a room to be ready, that’s where we met Jacque. As first-time parents, we experienced a roller coaster of emotions. Jacque made us feel so comfortable and answered any and every question we had. She even taught my husband and I how to change our daughter's diapers and dress her while working around all of her wires and IV. While my husband and I went with our daughter for an ultrasound she even took the time to straighten up our room & rearrange it so we had more space, she also started a dirty clothes bag for us. We eventually got moved up to a room in the hospital the next day, and she even took the time to come and visit us upstairs and check on our daughter.

Since being home, my husband and I bring Jacque up on a daily basis to talk about how amazing she was and the impact she had on our family during trying times. In our short time with her, she made us feel so safe and looked out for! She went above and beyond for us without hesitation, and we can’t thank her enough for being one of our daughter's nurses.
