Jackie is the type of nurse that lights up any room she goes into. She is very determined to help in any way she can. She is the type of nurse that if you had a sick family member you wish she was taking care of them. You can count on her to go above and beyond for her patients.

Being a Respiratory Therapist, I have had the opportunity to work side by side with her in the shock rooms numerous times. We recently had a patient come to the shock room as a trauma patient. She got the patient calm and let him know that he was in good care. She used her humor to lighten the mood with the patient and the patient was able to calm down. She was able to connect with the patient and his family. The family and patient could not stop talking about how great a nurse Jackie was and how they could tell she cared for the patient.

She was able to connect with the family and patient, this happens every time. I see her always going above and beyond her duty making sure her patients know they mean something to her.
