The patient said Jamie brought her daughter food the night of surgery after the cafeteria at the hospital had closed. Jamie also came in on his day off to check on the patient and others being discharged that day.
"That is dedication to me," the patient wrote in a nomination form. "I am so blessed that he was my nurse and not only took excellent care of me but also my family, making sure they had what they needed."
