Janae Devasher is all these things: professional, dedicated, clinically skillful, sensitive, comforting, genuine, courageous and extremely compassionate. Since the first day I met her, she has consistently asked me if I'm okay (I'm a new nurse) and if I need any help. Other nurses ask me also, but Janae asks me so often that I know she truly cares about me and being successful at my job. One day, I was so frustrated because I was supposed to get my patients' vital signs, but we were short on equipment. Everyone was busy starting their day, but I walked down the halls looking for what I needed and I got so frustrated I started to cry. (I'm not a big crier.) Janae saw me and immediately stopped and asked me what was wrong. She asked how she could help and when I told her my situation, she said, "Don't worry, I will get all your vitals and chart them." She told me to go take a little break and feel better. I was so grateful. She is so smart, calm, and she never ever has a bad attitude. She is like Superwoman! I think she is one of the top nurses on our floor. She never talks negatively about anyone and she is always in a good mood. She always knows the answer to my questions and has never been "put out" to help me. Janae Devasher is amazing!
