Janet is the most compassionate and caring nurse that I have ever encountered at AGMC. She always remains calm and comforting to her patients, even in the most difficult situations. She treats other staff members with the same kindness that she provides to her patients. Recently the head of anesthesia requested that the most patient nurse in PACU be assigned to a very difficult patient. Everyone pointed to Janet. One fellow nurse kiddingly told Janet, " What can we tell you, Janet, you need to stop being so nice!"
Janet is a true caregiver, taking care of family, staff and even animals with compassion and understanding. I nominate her for this award because I feel that she deserves the recognition for working hard and caring every day!

Janet is a joy to work with. She always has a smile on her face and you always hear her laughing. She will listen to her patients and get what they need whether being admitted or discharged. She truly cares about her patients and is always willing to lend a hand to others when asked or sees a need. She would like to get off at the end of her shift but many times weekly she stays late to make sure patients are cared for. Thank you Janet. You are wonderful.
