After delivering my daughter, breastfeeding was extremely difficult and extremely painful. I was ready to give up when I met with Janine. She was amazing. She was knowledgeable, calming and respectful. She took her time, made me feel cared for and decreased my fear and anxiety related to breastfeeding.
She helped me learn techniques to prevent pain with breastfeeding. Even though she stayed late to see me, she took time to talk with me and my husband about research related to breastfeeding, milk content, etc. My husband and I were so impressed!
Later, at a follow up appointment, I ran into Janine when she was off duty. She remembered me and took time to inquire about our family, how things were going and if we needed any help with lactation, weigh-ins, etc.
She is truly a special person and an asset to HFAH. Thank you, Janine!
