Jared embodies all the good attributes that make a leader and exemplifies these in his day to day running of the OR. The staff is able to truly put their input in for positives and negatives in the department and great things came from the opportunities staff brought forth. Jared is a very accessible leader and can always be reached by his staff either at work or not at work. He makes himself available and if he is not physically in the department he is using whatever means he can to communicate with his staff and make sure that things are running smoothly. He truly has immersed himself into the ways of continual improvement and is pushing his department forward in every way he can for the best outcomes for all of the patients that the OR touches. His positive attitude and continual optimism have truly started to change the culture of the OR and continue to inspire staff to be better in their everyday work. He is never short of good ideas or new ways to involve staff and get their buy-in, he is eternally hopeful that the changes he is making are what is in the best interest of his staff, department, and most importantly, the patients.
