Ms. Holder's intervention made all the difference in the world in getting all my tests and follow-up appointments. She was on top of my care every step of the way.
In her position, Ms. Holder works tirelessly to ensure breast cancer patients are connected to the services needed to achieve care and recovery. Ms. Holder is truly a remarkable employee.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 and completed my treatment in 2024. In late 2024, I was again diagnosed with cancer, this time in the brain. The tumor was removed by a remarkable doctor at Cleveland Clinic, and I received radiation. I am currently cancer-free. During this long, audacious recovery, Ms. Holder was continuously by my side. She scheduled my numerous appointments timely to ensure I received the treatment needed. When I tried to secure my own appointments, I was unsuccessful in getting timely dates. Ms. Holder's intervention made all the difference in the world in getting all my tests and follow-up appointments. She was on top of my care every step of the way.
She also would discuss my diet with me and send healthy, nutritious recipes to try as I was experiencing stomach challenges due to the chemo I was undergoing. When she knew I wasn't feeling well, she would call just to check on me and see if there was anything I needed. She even called during the hurricane to ensure I was in a safe area and had supplies. Without a doubt, Ms. Holder's work ethic, not only with me but also with all her patients, is exceptional. She has demonstrated dedication to service by sharing her specialized expertise during a presentation on health and wellness at the Breast Cancer Awareness Conference in October this year.
Ms. Holder has developed strong relationships and collaborations with professionals across the continuum of care, which is evidenced by her ability to obtain timely appointments for her patients in an efficient manner. In addition, she demonstrates superior interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
