My son was 10 months old when he was admitted. One of the nurses assigned to us is Jehn. She instantly rays sunshine upon entering the room, and even when you set to meet her in the hallway, she greets every person with a polite greeting and a smile. Her shift may be long, but she is always attentive to every patient's needs, linen change, medicine administration, and patient care. Particularly, Jehn developed a wonderful rapport with my typically shy boy. She carefully addressed his delicate needs – i.e., managing his IV line and patiently administering his medicines even though he can be difficult. Ordinary nurses will probably just leave the companion to manage it, but with Jehn, she ensured that our little boy would still smile back at her when she left the room. I also observe that she goes above and beyond the other staff as she manifested care to MDH truly -not only through the patients but upholding the standards she provides – i.e., cluttered wires are kept well, maintaining adequate use of medical supplies and being responsive to even visitors/doctors she interacted with. It is a distinct quality of nurses to serve beyond their duty and be the signature of the MDH brand. Jehn is definitely a DAISY who will bloom further. I can send photos of how she was with my son, a person she probably won’t remember by name, but truly an immense experience/memory for us to cherish.
