My father was admitted to the hospital. He had surgery in January to remove cancer from his liver. He never truly recovered and had been admitted this time because he was wasting away in front of our eyes.
Jennah was my father's nurse when we received the news that his cancer had returned, and he might have six months to live. She was so kind to us and very gentle with my dad. When we came in to visit my father, we were told that my father may only have three weeks left. Jennah was on shift the remainder of the time he was admitted and requested to be his nurse. My father was released and admitted to Hospice Care. Jennah brought so much peace of mind and compassion to my family as well as making my father as comfortable as possible.
My father passed away. Jennah had given my mother a beautiful card the day we left the hospital and it made my mother happy to know that my father had been so well cared for before he went to Hospice.
It is not an easy profession that Jennah has chosen and her skills are very prevalent. But the love, tenderness, and compassion she has cannot be taught; it is who she is. We were lucky to have her touch our lives, especially during the worst time in my life.
