Jennette Hill goes above and beyond each and every hour she works. She exemplifies the BIGGER AIM by being resourceful, efficient and compassionate. Jennette understands the needs of people in the midst of a mental health crisis and delivers care in the most compassionate, energetic, expedient and clinically sound fashion. Her energy is boundless, her courage extraordinary. She is humble and humorous and the best charge nurse Copestone has had in very long time. She is a fantastic role model and a remarkable leader. Jennette is a team player whose generous and joyful spirit sometimes leaves colleagues stupified.

The other day, functioning as our charge nurse, she assigned herself to five patients, three of which were the most acutely ill patients on the unit. The other nurses were also assigned five patients. Her patients were floridly psychotic, threatening other patients and at high risk for self harm. These indigent, dangerous, unkempt patients received care one might only expect to receive from the best private hospital. She didn't sit down until ten hours into her shift and maintained a smile throughout despite the fact that her mother was two states away having heart surgery.
