Jenn Alonzo was with me the night my son C, 22 years old, passed away. This woman is my hero and a God-send. She and I didn’t speak many words to each other or have deep, meaningful conversations, our bond was mostly silent. Jenn wasn’t just a nurse when she cared for my son, she was a human being. She didn’t treat C like he was just another patient, she treated him like a son, a grandson, a brother, and all of the other titles C was so proud to carry.

She stayed late to help with his care, she bought him hair products so he could stay “fly” and I never expected the beautiful flowers, with C's favorite color bow, that arrived from her at his service. She knew when I needed a hug and she knew when I needed a minute. She did her job and then some; words could never express how grateful I am for this beautiful lady. I love this woman dearly and will never forget the love and compassion she showed my son and my family during this tragedy. God bless you, Jenn.
