I am so proud of all the contributions she has made to the MNC nursing team and the care that she provides to our patients.
Jennifer is one of the best hires I have ever made; she is extremely competent, professional, and a great team member. Jennifer is the type of nurse that is always looking things up to ensure the team is doing best practice whether is a new drug or wound dressing or even an obscure diagnosis.
Jennifer took over the whole wound photograph project from me and excelled in its organization and also the education that she provided to the team.
During COVID she really stepped up and took the lead on getting staff organized to do ward testing always getting supplies, helping the team get organized, and keeping track of the testing schedules, the people being tested, and the results.
Jennifer has an on-call job at a local hospital doing complex PACU cases when I asked her why, she said she wanted to keep her complex clinical skills in order to make sure our patients have the more complicated skilled nursing care they may need in emergencies. You can see this care during rapid responses, she is methodical, calm, suggests next steps to providers like do you want me to grab some blood while I’m putting in the IV, and she always gets the IV in on the first try.
I continually used Jennifer as a sounding board for changes in products, procedures and to give input to new forms or written documentation.
Jennifer is a great team member always looking out for others, picking up shifts when there is a hole, and she has a great sense of humor which helps keep all of us smiling. I am so proud of all the contributions she has made to the MNC nursing team and the care that she provides to our patients.
