Jennifer was my grandmother's nurse during her most recent admission. My grandmother has been in and out of many hospitals recently and has had many nurses. As my grandmother put it, "Jennifer was THE best nurse that I ever had." She is the definition of what a nurse should be and is really devoted to all her patients. She checked in regularly and was attentive to all of her needs. During her free time, she would stay and chat to get to know my grandmother and really seemed to care about her personally as well as medically. It is reassuring to know that someone like Jennifer was able to be there and care for my grandmother when I and the rest of the family weren't able to be with her at certain times throughout the day. Any time any of us were there and saw Jennifer, we all felt very comfortable confiding and talking to her, and we were very grateful for all that she did. When it was time to transfer my grandmother to rehab, Jennifer made that as seamless as possible, too. I hope that everyone gets to experience a nurse like Jennifer if anyone is in need of care.
