Jennifer Droter deserves special recognition for the wonderful care she provided to my mother-in-law. Jenn was very thorough, knowledgeable, and diligent in the care she provided. She paged the physician numerous times as mom's respiratory status worsened. Jenn gave report to the next nurse when she realized that her situation was worse, paging the physician for orders and assisting the next nurse. Since her shift was over she clocked out; however, she continued to assist staying with mom to keep her calm. Jenn stayed approximately 4 1/2 hours after her shift. Our family would like to express our appreciation for the extra time and care she gave to mom at a time when she needed it the most. Mom passed away several days later, but she was able to tell me how much she appreciated the nurse who "stayed with me when I felt like I was going to die".
