Jennifer Haney, RN is the Nurse Manager in Diagnostic Recovery and Endoscopy. She began her career in 1993 at Saint Mary’s Emergency Department as a clerk before becoming a Registered Nurse in 1995. She worked in the ER as an RN and transferred to Diagnostic Recovery a few years later. Jennifer has been an integral part of leading ODR and Endo through many changes throughout the years. She has a positive, can-do attitude and encourages her staff to approach any situation with an open mind. If she comes across a problem she has never faced, she will learn and educate the staff herself. She has had to adapt to many situations throughout the years, collaborating daily with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and ancillary departments. Diagnostic Recovery is a multi-faceted department that preps and recovers cath lab patients, radiology procedure patients, infusions, and transfusions. Jennifer is a problem solver and handles stress well. The staff in ODR have often described her as compassionate and an advocate for her team.
