Jennifer Jensen's clinical skill and especially her compassionate care exemplify the kind of nurse that patients, families and your staff should recognize as an outstanding role model. I could go on and on about the care and compassion she gave my father when we moved to NSS at about shift change from ICU on Friday. Jen stayed to make sure things were handled and he was comfortable before leaving since this was the second move for us that day.

On Monday, we decided to move my father home via air ambulance. Jen took great care of my father that day again and made sure everything was done and taken care of before the end of her shift so that the transition would be as smooth as possible for him. The transfer was delayed a few hours by the air ambulance, but because of her dedication and commitment to making sure he had all his medications and his paperwork was complete, the transfer went great.
