As you know, going through cancer, illness, and chemotherapy is majorly more than just 'no Picinic.' The pain of the illness itself, the fear of the known.....compounded by the indescribable anguish of the possible unknown, the discomfort of the treatments, their painful and embarrassing side effect, the need to need so many others .... and the list goes on, but I take pen in hand to share with you a not so small ray of sunshine in the darkness of difficulty journey. And this is your amazing infusion staff and, most specifically, Nurse Jennifer. While I have not yet encountered any member of your infusing staff who was not so helpful, Jennifer stands out head and shoulder above the rest! The care, attention to every minute detail, constant checking on patient comfort, carefully explaining every step of the procedure - detail by detail- making sure the patient understands and is comfortable with what's happening and is ready for the next step is only surpassed by her sincere, warm caring and encouraging beside manners in all interactions with her patient. There is nothing too small (or large) for her to do to make her patients comfortable, reassured, and secure. Her smile and sincere words of encouragement add an uplifting feeling at a time when it is desperately needed.
