Although I have only known Jenny for a short period of time, I have found her to be one of the most compassionate, funny, hardworking, and genuine people I have ever met. She is a wonderful person and a fabulous nurse.
I first worked with Jenny on the med/surgical floor. It always seemed to be a crazy day when we worked together, but she never complained about it and gave the best care to her patients. Patients were constantly raving about Jenny's caring and fun personality. Now I work with Jenny in the oncology/infusion clinic, and I still hear about how wonderful Jenny is from the patients. She is a ray of sunshine for all of our patients, and she brightens their day when they are going through rough times.
Jenny knows all the patients by name and takes the time to get to know them and their loved ones on a personal level. Our patients ask for Jenny by name when they walk into the clinic and it is definitely noticed when she is not there. She greets everyone she sees in the hallway with her cheery voice and bright smile. Belton Regional is very lucky to have such a professional, respectful, and strong nurse caring for our patients. Jenny is very deserving of the DAISY Award!
