Jenny was my nurse for my breast biopsy. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time, but her kindness and warm demeanor helped me feel so much more comfortable. She made sure I was fully informed about the procedure, encouraged me to ask questions, and spoke to me so kindly. I loved that she explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand and gave me enough time to process what she was saying as well. It can be hard to retain information when you’re feeling nervous, and she definitely understood that! Nurse Jenny offered me my favorite music, lavender, a warm blanket, and a stress ball, and even tucked a towel behind my arm when I had to be in an awkward position for a period of time. I felt like she was looking out for me the entire time and prioritizing my comfort. I was completely at ease. I could tell from our interaction that Nurse Jenny goes above and beyond for every patient that she has, and that she truly cares. I am very thankful that she was my nurse the day of my biopsy. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it didn’t take me very long to realize I was in the best of hands with her and the rest of my care team. Thank you, Nurse Jenny!
