I have worked with Jeraldine in RR for almost two years now. She was in Male Observation Room before she was rotated in our unit. What caught my attention when I first met her is that is she is so respectful and polite. She calls most of her senior staffs "ma'am" and "sir" which is quite unusual since we are already used to being called by our first name. She is humble and always willing to lend a helping hand to her colleagues.
One of her characteristics that I like is her responsible attitude along with her ability to work under pressure. She is efficient and can remain calm and active throughout our duty hours. I admire the way she provides direct patient care to her patients. She is excellent, always ensuring that her patients are comfortable at all times. She is competent in observing changes in conditions of her patients. She provides a very good nursing care to all her patients. Most of our patients in the Resuscitation Room are critical patients who require critical care and she can work independently in accordance with her patient's need.
She has good interpersonal relationships with her colleagues and her charge nurses. Although she is also a shy person, that doesn't stop her from approaching her colleagues to help whenever they need it. She will accept without murmuring any assignment given to her. There are times in our work that we face difficulties and will sometimes feel emotionally exhausted but she is always motivated to do her best in everything she does, especially in patient care.
She always comes on duty on time, always punctual and will receive endorsement even before her duty will start. She is professional in her work. She has the ability and confidence to be flexible in stressful situations and still continue to provide quality nursing care to her patients.
I am so pleased to be able to work with her. She is one of the best nurses in our unit. Her effort in patient care need to be recognized, she is simply an extraordinary nurse.
