Jeremiah helped to care for a family during their son's last hours. During that time, the patient's mom was talking about how after her baby is gone, she'll look up at the stars and find him there. After the baby passed, the family sent Jeremiah a thank you card, which included a gift card. Instead of keeping that gift card, Jeremiah used it to purchase a star from the ECMO team for the family and named it after the patient.
