Jerico always has a good attitude and a positive spin when things get hard.
Jerico is currently the charge nurse in the GI Lab. He has been working for LGH for 30 years. During this time, he took many roles from transportation to NCT to nursing. When Jerico is in charge, he not only takes good care of patients, but makes sure that doctors’ and staff members' concerns are addressed and solved. Even though the day of the charge nurse can be really hectic, he also helps taking care of patients at times when we are busy. He is respectful, compassionate, and kind with the patients. He is the go-to person for hard IV starts and also he is knowledgeable and an expert in many special procedures. He never hesitates to go and pick up inpatients from the floor or emergency room if transportation is backed up in order for the patients to have their procedure on a timely manner. He always has a good attitude and a positive spin when things get hard. He has a good rapport with the staff members in our unit as well as staff members of other units in the hospital. Jerico is a pleasure to work with and you can always count on his help.
