She was with the patient 100% (which was her goal) but she also helped control the entire environment of the situation that was being experienced at that moment, she made us all feel good, she cared for the patient, our family and even her own colleagues.
I decided to nominate Jessica because, in addition to being 100% committed to taking care of my dad, she has the patience to support the family members.
I realized that she was different when I saw how she acted and handled a situation during a very difficult crisis that my father was going through.
On one occasion, my dad was having a crisis. Obviously, you don't know what to do in those moments. Fortunately, Jessica was there. The doctors came to ask questions, and she politely told them, “Can you give us a moment? We are dealing with a crisis; we would appreciate it if you could come back a little later, please.” I was amazed since she was very attentive, even with her colleagues.

Furthermore, she always arrived with a good attitude, I never saw her pouting, she was always in the best disposition for anything that came up, she didn't wait for things to be asked to her, she did it on her own initiative, when she saw that my dad was uncomfortable, that he had a bent tube, or that the machine that is connected to the IV line was making a sound, really any detail, she was always alert.
We felt that we could count on her at all times since she showed empathy in all situations; she was very delicate when giving his medications and supported my father's cleanliness without being in a rush, you feel that every time she enters the room, she listens what the patient and family need, she always had a very nice attitude, she even brightened your day, she lifted your spirit just by seeing her, she has a very nice vibe, Jessy's personality shows she has the vocation to be an excellent nurse.
