My nurse, Jessica Byrd, is special to me because even when Jessica is busy she takes the time to ask me how my day was, how I am feeling, if I am okay or if I need anything. Jessica might only have a few minutes but she listens to me vent about my day, that means a lot to me considering I've been alone in this room for five weeks, it's the small things that mean the most. Jessica always has a smile on her face no matter how her night or day has gone. She's very beautiful and takes her job very seriously and you can tell she's very passionate about it. I'm grateful to have had Jessica as my nurse when I call her for help Jessica goes above and beyond to make sure that I am okay. I believe Jessica will go far in her career. I've been here for five weeks and Jessica has shown me how a patient is supposed to be treated and this lovely hospital in my hometown is very lucky to have her. Jessica is a very kind woman, she makes sure I get my meds on time.
