Jessica is an exceptional nurse. She is compassionate to the patients she cares for being one of those nurses that I would want to take care of my family. Daily, she leads by example always willing to take the time to help others and staff. Jessica is an asset to the unit and the community always willing to take that extra step to make a difference. She displays her compassion by the simple things that she does. Willing to hold the hand of those that are about to pass making sure that their last moments are not spent alone. Helping the new nurse grasp the complex issues of nursing by being there to support and teach always in a professional manner. Jessica has a "Can Do" positive attitude and approaches each day with a smile. She continually addresses all aspect of patient care by attending to the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the patient and family. Jessica is an example of what nursing is about.
