I was lucky enough to have Jessica as my preceptor, she continuously showed an incredible amount of compassion and support to every single patient, family member and co-worker she encountered. Jessica goes above and beyond to make each patient and their family feel special. She makes sure to greet each patient with a warm smile and expresses genuine interest in each of their unique situations. Jessica takes the time to get to know her patients and advocates for them at every chance she gets. She is a phenomenal example of a caring and compassionate nurse and an amazing role model to everyone around her.

An elderly patient came into IR for a procedure, he was a veteran, living with an equally elderly family member. It seemed as though he had fallen through every crack in our system. This gentleman had the fortune of getting Jessica for his nurse. She made multiple calls regarding everything from his health to his nutrition to his safety. She exemplifies caring for the whole person, not just the health condition. Her soothing voice calms the anxious, her caring words offer comfort and her sharp mind answers questions. She has precepted new nurses with amazing patience. She is our go-to for questions about how to do something or a simple pick me up on a tough day. She is truly an inspiration.
