Prior to my surgery, Jessica came to meet me. She looked me in my eyes and said, "I am going to be your Anesthesia Nurse. You are going to be alright. We are going to take care of you." The last words I heard before surgery. Words I will always remember. I appreciate this opportunity to thank her and recommend her for this DAISY Award. The entire staff was second to none, but Jessica took it on herself to tell me she was in charge, and they would take care of me. That is what you need to hear when you are scared out of your mind at 66 years old, having to put your life in someone else's hands. She is exceptional, along with the surgeon.
