Jessica was there from the beginning to the end without a doubt. She truly makes you feel like the most important patient ever, although she has many. I felt very comfortable with her and she goes above and beyond to make sure you are. When she says, "If you need anything, call me," she means it. You are not an inconvenience to her. I was lucky enough to get her as my labor and delivery nurse.
Of course, I was nervous and a little apprehensive, but Jessica was so reassuring that all my jitters went away. She means business and is very professional. Add in her funny and sweet personality and she is the best nurse. I know it's tough to be a total package as a nurse. Their jobs are not easy, and I truly believe that it takes a special human being to do their job and all that it entails. Somehow, she manages to pull it off with a smile. Labor and delivery are very personal as these nurses are sharing one of the most special moments in someone's life.
Jessica made us feel special and exceeded our expectations during labor and delivery. She encouraged me and helped me to push when I was just exhausted and so tired. She also made sure to snap a few pictures for us in the moment. We are so thankful we have those memories. Caring for me afterwards was an added bonus. She made sure I was comfortable both physically and mentally. All of my questions and concerns were addressed, and she even checked on me when her shift was over as well as the next day.
As I said, she went above and beyond. Jessica most importantly made me feel like I was a priority. I appreciate all of her hard work and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Jessica; she is a keeper! Make sure she knows how thankful we are.
