I can’t even begin to say how thankful I am to have had Jill as my nurse during my recent hospital stay. I was admitted for high blood pressure after pregnancy, and to say my hospital stay was stressful would be an understatement. The stress wasn’t helping my condition, but Jill went above and beyond for me and ultimately helped me get better and on the road to recovery. I had my baby with me during my stay and was stressing out about my baby having to leave the hospital for a doctor's appointment since I was breastfeeding. Because my baby wasn’t a patient, I wasn’t allowed to see a lactation consultant during my stay to help me make a plan for my baby leaving the hospital. Jill found another nurse who was very knowledgeable about lactation, and they both helped me come up with a game plan to get some breastmilk for my baby to take to the appointment. That was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. She was just so kind and caring and spent her entire shift comforting me and trying to keep me calm so it wouldn’t make my blood pressure go up further. I truly loved all the nurses that cared for me during my stay, but Jill really stood out to me, and I want her to know just how much she meant to me.
