I have been in and out of the hospital since my surgery. I've been in the hospital 3 times and in the ER twice. During my stays I've met many nursing staff and was treated with care and respect. But one nurse with a remarkable personality and professionalism has made a positive impact on me, my family, and my friends. With her sweet voice, I feel as if I am talking to an angel. Joann Gellner changed my dressing with so much patience that I did not have any pain. I have requested that she be my nurse because I trust her. I know that when she is here she knows what to do because she is very smart. She made herself available by phone and came to see me on her day off to help with my ileostomy. She prevented an obstruction. She is an extraordinary, exceptionally excellent, caring, compassionate nurse.
