Dr. Fletcher’s expertise in the courses that she teaches is exemplified by her ability to communicate complex concepts to her students in an easily relatable manner. Her engaging approach fosters student engagement and truly supports their success.

Dr. Fletcher has taught and developed courses across the DNP curriculum to ensure that her students have access to the most current evidence to support their project goals. She goes above and beyond to advocate for students who may have challenges, where, in one exceptional case, she traveled to another state to support a terminal student through an in-person doctoral presentation. Further, her mentorship has resulted in student publications and presentations at national conferences. This advocacy has significantly enhanced our program, and as a result, will undoubtedly advance the role of these advanced practice nurses and the patients and communities they serve.
